other than pleased

Margie, "other than pleased" is the understatement of the year! Just a partial quote of her last explaning of "concern" about the Keystone Communication Gang, "*^%$^&*(!!**&!?!! and dang!"

Pops,
LIBERAL bad guys don't count.

Tossing recycling into the regular trash don't put you on the most wanted list, outside of Berkeley.

What Matt is saying, is "take a walk on the wild side" uncle Ken. The Keystone Communication Gang is my moms own invention!

Margie thrives on indirect, convoluted, and obsure communication. It is what makes her want to live for another day!

You are wrong that she is some how taking offense at this. I have seen her even write a note to herself to make a phone call, then make the phone call a minute later.

She even puts the dates on canned food cans. (Although this could be a result of breathing too much Orinda air).

Take it from me, you should ask Kakie to ask Kathy to ask Barb if I am right or wrong?

The reason you probably find this new is the Berkeley factor. Her method of communication can NOT propogate through Berkeley.

Since most Berkeleyites are so far on the left thinking they are right, they don't have any more room on their paper to take a message in the first place, unless they wrote in the middle and they would never think of that!

Do you realize at x-mass she used to "layer wrap"? I would grab a present from under the tree addressed to me. I would open it only to find a new layer saying for "Barb". This could go on 4 or 5 layers. Sometimes causing us to run back and forth between the neighbors when they were recepients. It confused the hell out of Wrong Way who never could figure out who got what.

Once a "serial sender" always a serial sender. Why fight it. Call Buz to call Duv to call Kakie to call my mom and say "I am with you sis"!

Support does come in forms other than AA and Bras, infact an "AA bra" has NO support. Think about it!

It floors me that you are ONLY NOW being introduced to this passion of my moms. Matt told me to tell you to Grock!

And the next time one of your brother bell ringers is dinging in the wind, have them ding dong out some morse code to my mom. It would be worth tossing in a quarter to see that! :)

Have you ever been so hoop-snagged you just wanted to wee-bum-sack the whole world ?

And then you hoot-n-lag and realize it was all cross-wise from the git-go, so you get some and go lakka-lakka-lakka till it gets downright slip-bammed.

I did the hammer-on with the slammer on,
and sho' nuff it was Cadillac.

So I slipped back like bush wack,
Pro-style, no wee-bum-sack hack, Jack !!

Scott can translate.

Love to all

(And to All I ain't loved yet)

And Congrats to Jimmy on the Scholarship !

What Matt is trying to say...

Post by Scott » Wed Nov 13, 2002 4:02 pm

What Matt is trying to say "Margie Style" is:

Peeing outside on a windy day can cause zipper rash. But sometimes it's a chance you just gotta take.

After all, dogs still wag their tails in the wind, and have been doing it safely since he can remember...

Ya ever notice how soon you forget,
and how profound the memories seem to be when they come back ?

Sometimes , I play these old songs, and get the strangest memories.

People, and places of course, but feelings too.

Makes you think that todays boring day may take on new meaning in the years to come. Depends on what you make of it.

All this may seem random, but it is without context.
Not random.
The context will be established by each succesive moment.

Life as a whole is random.
We spin our wheels trying to establish a context, and only time can do that.

And, it will.

So, like, why sweat it.

Just slip bam the mose-bose and weeb-bum-slagg till it happens.
Cause it's gonna happen anyway.
It just does.

And, it always will.

Dear Scott,

You have removed my watchful eye and replaced it with a burning computer!! Hrummph. Now how can I be the family martriarch when I can't see what's going on to correct all errors in judgment?

It's all been worth it. Having plugged everything into the 220 dryer outlet (it wasn't just the computer - I decided to go for broke), everything is working at top speed. My electric blanket now heats the entire house, my dishwasher loads itself and puts all the dishes away (have you got a 440 so I can get it to cook dinner also?), my dryer now folds and irons after being embarrassed about breaking my computer in full view of the entire family on the forum, and my ice-maker is supplying ice for all the wild block parties they have around here so that now people stay longer and go straight from the street to work, at least those who can still function. Been great. Love ya, Mammy
Love each other - and me - Margie

Three months later...

Post by Scott » Wed Feb 12, 2003 12:29 am

It is now three months later and Margie has finally started to post again. Thats a whole quarter .... i.e. one phone call at a pay phone. She says she has been busy with Grannit selection, electrical work, new floors, moving walls etc.

But the truth is what I posted a few months ago .... once she gets hooked on serial communication ... it is hard to return to the efficiency of this forum ...

So Matt, please tell Margaret to tell Rich to tell Barb to tell Kathy to tell Kakie to tell Ken that Margie is back! One more time for "Long Way Mommy"... or should we give the tele-margaret one last try .... naaaaaaaaaaahhhh

:ouch:
