Krafts go ATVing at Coral Pink Dunes

Post by Scott » Sat Jun 07, 2003 10:02 am

The Kraft Family took their ATV's out to Coral Pink Dunes for three days of Sand Dune riding on ATV's. Coral Pink Dunes is located about 1 hour 15 minutes from Brian Head Utah and is a Utah State Park with showers and bathrooms. Everyone had paddles for their ATV's except Jill who's paddles were on back order and did not arrive in time.

Matt enjoyed his first ATV experience which included major dune climbs, finding lost Douggie, and inadvertant jumps off the back side of the dunes.

All the kids learned to operate a clutch and took turns on Jill's Blaster making their Badgers now obsolete! Rather than pull the toy trailer, we set up a 10 foot by 20 foot tent with 80,000 BTU propane heater. It snowed for 1/2 hour but the tent stayed very warm.

Coral Pink Dunes will be a twice yearly event in the future.

Under the members menu on left side click on Gallary and you will see an area with your user name one you login. It will be obvious how to post from their. It will automatically take the picture you want to post and create three versions: Thumbnail, full screen size, and finally a high resolution for those wanting to download and print. So don't worry about limiting the size of your picture upload.
