Melanie Ranked 7th in Academic Decathlon!

Melanie ranked 7th of all the B team members in LAUSD (177 students) with a score of 8010 out of 10,000 (Academic Decathlon).
She got two golds, one silver, one bronze and an honorable mention and her team is going to the State competition in March (12th - 14th).
She got a perfect score of 1000 in speech and interview and a 910 on her essay.
Congratulations to Melanie from all the family.
When reached for comment Melanie said: "I hope this lands me a boyfriend ... a really cute one!"
