Tic-Tac-Honky-Tonk-Cat!

Post by Scott » Wed Jan 29, 2003 8:53 pm

Lets get this straight. Honky runs into the building in a heated staircase. She has numerious "cat nap" spots amongst the 6 flights of stairs. Instead of taking a "honky-nap", she bee-lines for the "window in play" and meows until she gets a toss.

And it is a "toss" not a throw. Anyone can throw a cat out the window, after all gravity will insure a ground impact. Although Alyssa is famous for forgetting to open the window but that is a different story and the reason that we supervise her Honky tossing! But "tossing" the cat stratigically onto the correct square of the playing field is the trick and requires skill. She flys through the air with all legs out, like those flying squerrels do on the discovery channel.

Honky loves it. I will video it and send it to you. As for getting cold, the cat is of course wearing a "regulation" "tic-Tac..." outfit. Such outfit includes fleece lined booties, a wool close nit sweater (courtesy Jills mom) with http://www.kraftfam.com logo and advertising.

The cat loves the snow, but is not so crazy about skiing as of yet. She pretty much keeps to the bottom of the back pack rather than sticking her head out, except on the chair lift where she rubber necks like Jill drives.

Now that Risa is on its way to completion, are you coming up to visit us? I hear round trip is only $150 on delta (S.F. to Cedar City). I am sure Matt would give you a ride to the airport and pick you up, as you did for him. .... or did you.....

We are working on a game called Tic-tac-throw-that old bat ... nothing to do with you, I was just rambling....

LOL

and may not ever finish if it means going to Brian Head and being tossed out the window with the window closed! That Honky cat is the funniest cat I've ever encountered. You really should create a video and send it into that Funniest Animal Videos show. You may have to give her a name-change though - don't know about Honky Tonk on national tv. You could call her Upchuck: you know, you chuck her up and out the window. That's cute. I really want that video - and include a picture of her in the back pack on the ski lift, but with her head sticking out. That would be so adorable. That cat fits in very well with rest of us crazies in the Dawson Clan. Of course, she had great training prior to your acquisition in that department.

Thanks for paying the River property taxes. You're my hero. Speaking of such , Jill - have you heard Enrico Iglesious sing "Hero"? Wow, what a song!!! You'll be so turned on, you'll be jumping out that window right along with Honky!

I really do hope to get to Brian Head this year. Yes, Scott, I drove both you and Matt to the airport at 5:30 a.m. - ah, such a good mother!!

Love ya all, Mammy
Love each other - and me - Margie
