James !
Tell Sandy I know the drill................I'm into it about three
months. ..........had to. Forty is not too
old unless you are all ****** up.
Do you have any concerts comming up this summer ? I will be at the
Russian River and at Santa Cruz. I'm gonna be a bum
there for a week.
You should come up to the River and hang with us. I have invited Davey Ray, but have not heard back.
I remember you doing Budy Guy's Born Under a Bad SIgn, or Randy Newman, or your GREAT L. George "Dixie Chicken" .
The music you are into is some stuff I do not know weli, but you always listened to good stuff-Jocko, Jimi and so on.
Remember we went to see Joe Pass at Maybeck Hall--that was an experience. And you took me to see Barney Kessel, also. I was floored. Years later I am reading liner notes and found out he played a bunch of sessions with Billie Holiday. It was either Decca or Verve, and he was in the sstudio band- I think it was 1948.
Please register so you can get around the sight.
Later Bro'
