Richie and Football
Richie's Miramonte High School team went undefeated for the third year in a row for their league. Richie was chosen to be on first string for the Playoff - Al League game. Only two people from his league were chosen for his position. Big Rich is the defensive coach for the team, which the papers are touting as the best defensive team in the league. So both Rich and Richie have gotten some good newspaper write-ups and we go to the play-off game this Friday night. Richie is thrilled and happy to have been chosen. Go Miramonte!!

That is great news! Keep us posted with the latest. How is that guy doing that Richie put in the hospital? I heard he was ok, but did he play again the next weekend.

Which guy ?
They have a "Richie Stackhowski Ward" at the local hospital for the guys he plays against.
The SOP used to be to have an ambulance stand-by at the games, but Richie uses one per quarter, on average.
We have a pool, we bet Walk-Offs, Limp-offs, and Carry-offs.
Vegas wants in, but Scott won't let 'em get the juice.
We have a mascot-dude dressed like a Preist, and when Richie KOs some guy, he comes out on the field and gives him "Last Rights" .
The kids take it in stride, and Richie is always kind enough to autograph their casts.
The opposing school districts dig it, because after Richie dishes out the concusion, they re-test the now-brain-damaged kid, and they qualify for more Special-AEd money from the State and the Feds.
They must have a fleet of new little yellow busses this year.
