It's rather simple actually. No offense to my parents, but there are just too many Jennifers in the world, and many too many nicknamed Jenny or Jennie or Jenni. So of course, to keep me from getting mixed up with all the other Jennifers that I'm friends with, my friends called me Jen. I've always hated to be called Jen. So I eventually trained them...well...kind of. They'd call me Jen...Iffer. Then they got the idea that they should drop the Jen part. So now I'm known as Iffer. And then there's the monster part. I had to have some kind of wierd name or title for my position as President of the Smith Science Fiction and Fantasy Society , so Iffer became The Iffer Monster (and some call me...TIM?).
Kinda boring really...
